All Saints’ Day

Wednesday, November 1

Said mass 12:15 pm

Procession and Solemn Eucharist 6:15 pm

We will celebrate All Saints' Day at 6:15 pm on Wednesday, November 1st with magnificent music of our tradition, including "And I saw a new heaven" by Australian composer Edgar Bainton and "In the heavenly Kingdom," a recently reconstructed anthem by Healey Willan. The music of the mass will be the Collegium Regale by Herbert Howells.

The 6:15 mass is followed by our third annual

Remembrance Potluck

To honour the memory of departed loved ones, St. Thomas's will be hosting a potluck wherein parishioners are invited to bring a dish to share that celebrates the life a person who has passed away.

Did your mother make the most fabulous butter tarts? Did your grandmother always make gingersnaps when you came to visit? Did you have a grandfather who just loved chocolate bars?

Dig out that old recipe and recreate it in honour of the person you love. Then, at the potluck, we will provide you with a small label that you may place on your dish, describing the person, the food item, and a memory. Feel free to even bring in a picture or the original handwritten recipe to display (if you have it).

Keep in mind that dishes should be in the form of “finger foods” and may be either sweet or savoury. We encourage everyone to participate as we share in All Saints' Day together and contribute to the feast.

Please sign up in the parish hall, where there is more information.
