Father David Neelands

Fr. David Neelands has been an Honorary Assistant Priest at St. Thomas's since 1981.

He is Dean of the Faculty of Divinity of Trinity College, the oldest theological school in the Anglican Church of Canada. He teaches the history of Anglican theology and is particularly interested in the work of St. Augustine of Hippo and Richard Hooker. For eleven years, he was an Assistant Vice-President of the University of Toronto, responsible for student life and services. Before returning to Trinity, he was Director of the Toronto School of Theology. He and his wife Mary have two sons, Andrew and Peter.
