DONATION OF SECURITIES

A donation of marketable securities can be a tax-effective method to support St. Thomas’s, and is becoming increasingly popular. To make a donation of securities, please complete the authorization form (see below) for the desired fund and send the completed copy to:

•  your broker

• our treasurer, Tim Wright (treasurer@stthomas.on.ca)

• our Royal Bank Investor Services account manager, Philippe Michaud (philippe.michaud@rbc.com)

 Please ensure your broker uses the correct Royal Bank account number as identified at the bottom of the authorization form (note that we now have multiple Royal Bank accounts supporting the various funds of the church).

 Also note that securities should be readily marketable. A tax receipt will be issued for the market value of the donated securities based on value as at time of acceptance by Royal Bank Investor Services on behalf of St. Thomas’s.
